Comcast Internet Issues in Montreux (January Update)
Dear Montreux Residents,
In our last email status dated December 10, 2020, Comcast was targeting December 21st for completion of the “node” upgrade in Montreux. On December 22nd, the status from Comcast was “the node split/segmentation has been completed. Your node utilization is well under spec as of now; you should not see the same issues you were noticing before.”
We decided to wait until after the holidays when work/school returned to a more ‘normal’ (higher internet usage) level to assess if the upgrade was successful. Feedback from some residents suggests their internet performance has improved. Hopefully your Comcast/Xfinity internet is performing at a better level now.

Good job, and thank you, Susan and all board members. I do notice the improvement. We finally can work from home without people complaining our voice being broken up. My boss recommended me to move to his neighborhood up north to enjoy Fiber connection, but now I don’t have to listen to his advice… 🙂
