Montreux homeowners,

In our March newsletter I wrote, “Most of you have probably noticed the flickering or burned out light bulbs along Village Park Drive. The light fixtures were installed in 2016 and the warranty expired in 2019. Records indicate problems existed with the fixtures during the warranty. Approximately 34 of 77 lights on Village Park Drive are not working.”

On Friday, a team began digging out the 34 fixtures in the grass strips and making necessary changes to ensure the lights work. The work is going to take at least two more days to complete. I am writing to let you know electricians’ vehicles may be parked along Village Park Drive on Monday and Tuesday. Please be careful when driving on the street.

The good news is you should notice improved lighting by the end of next week. Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve the challenge. I want to personally thank homeowners, Suresh Kumar and Ali Dimakis, for planning, facilitating, and supervising the work. I also want to take a moment to thank all the homeowners who fixed their lamp post lights. I know a couple of you are still waiting for electricians but have a plan. All the improved lighting should help the overall visibility in our neighborhood.
